Hebrew: עטרה - crown
The original word עטרה atarah, is derived from the root, עטר [atar], which signifies to encompass or surround; and is the same as is used to express a royal crown. (Thomas Coke Commentary on the Holy Bible, Song of Solomon 3)
Not the same piece as Atarah, though the Hebrew word is the same.
-
Go forth, you daughters of Zion, and see king Solomon,
with the crown with which his mother has crowned him,
in the day of his weddings,
in the day of the gladness of his heart. (Song of Songs 3:11)
